Overview
Capitoline (os.capitoline.io) is a private personal operating system built and operated by Charley Moore for his own personal use. It is not a public application and is not available to the general public. There is exactly one user: the owner.
Data Collection
Capitoline connects to third-party services (Google, Plaid) on behalf of the owner only. Data collected includes Google account profile information, Gmail metadata, Google Calendar events, and financial account data via Plaid. This data is used solely to power the owner's personal dashboard and is never shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising.
Data Storage & Security
All data is stored in a private Supabase database with Row Level Security enabled. Financial access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. All data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. Access to the application requires authentication via Google OAuth.
Data Deletion
The owner may disconnect any linked account at any time. Disconnecting a financial account permanently deletes all associated data including access tokens, balances, transactions, and holdings. Google account connections may be revoked at any time via Google account settings.
Third-Party Services
Capitoline uses Plaid to connect to financial institutions and Google APIs for calendar and email access. Use of these services is subject to their respective privacy policies. Capitoline does not store raw credentials for any financial institution — authentication is handled entirely by Plaid.
